My wife went to Smythe Volvo in Summit NJ and was offered a test drive of a S60 sedan; the salesman gave her the keys on the car lot and did not give her any further instructions.
In order to leave the lot, she backed up the car and scraped the bumper of the car behind her.
Smythe Volvo demanded $500 to fix the damage; my insurance company said we were not liable because it happened on Smythe's lot.
After threatening to take us to collection, we sent them a check for $500, but I will never go back there again and am warning my friends about this dealership.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $500.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
